New directors have been named to the BAI board. They are John R. Beran. executive vice president and chief information officer of Comerica Inc., Detroit; Jon N. Couture, executive vice president-corporate human resources for National City Corp., Cleveland; Betty Covvell, executive vice president and director of sales and service-retail and small business at Wachovia Corp., Charlotte, N.C.; James W. Nelson, executive vice president and chief risk officer of Huntington Bancshares Inc., Columbus, Ohio; and Floyd S. Robinson, president-consumer real estate and insurance group at Bank of America, Charlotte, N.C.
