Accused under house arrest

A Man has been put under curfew after he appeared in court inconnection with an alleged dangerous driving incident.

George McKinley was released on bail but with the specialcondition of a 24-hour curfew. It is alleged he drove dangerously onAberdeen's Lang Stracht on November 13.

The 27-year-old appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Courtyesterday, where he also faced another two charges of driving whiledisqualified and without insurance.

McKinley, whose address was given in court papers as 58Kittybrewster Square, Aberdeen, made no plea or declaration. Hisbail condition allows him to attend pre-arranged appointments.

The charges come after a crash at the Lang Stracht around 8pm onTuesday. McKinley and Ben Mitchell, 18, of Sheddocksley, had to becut free from the wreckage of a Honda Prelude after it was in acrash with a Vauxhall Corsa.
